Noisekiller Acoustic Blankets are manufactured using a sheet of Lead, sandwiched inside two layers of Class "O" open cell acoustic foam, and covered with Fortaglas, which is a high heat resistant, fabric. The Lead layer acts as a block to the sound and the foam absorbs the airborne sounds.
The blankets are manufactured in three sizes for use in an automotive engine and come complete with brass eyelets for attaching to a water pipe.
Noisekiller can also manufacture custom-designed blankets for all types of applications, incorporating Velcro fastening, cut outs and holes bound for extra strength.

Noisekiller can work with companies or individual customers to design an acoustic blanket for a specific area. We can incorporate cutouts, or holes, to allow for such things as fan belts, exhausts, oil top-up covers. The cutouts are bound for extra strength to the outer material. We can provide a site visit survey at a small cost or work to a customer drawing for sizes and measurements. |
