This is a barrier damping layer of 2mm thickness combined with a 12mm open cell acoustic foam. The Barrier layer will reduce noise between rooms by 20 to 25 Db. The Acoustic foam will further reduce the amount of noise transferred by absorbing the airborne sounds giving a total reduction in excess of 35 Db.
Self Adhesive the AbsorbnBlock is applied directly onto the existing wall and then plastic pads are attached through the AbsorbnBlock into to the existing wall and then new Acoustic plasterboard sheets are attached to the plastic pad over the Noisekiller AbsorbnBlock.
