Soundproofing technology of the highest level has been used in the research development and design of our exclusive noise reduction materials.
Noise Killer acoustic materials are used in our Car soundproofing, 4 x 4 soundproofing, Motor Home soundproofing kits. They can also be bought in sheet form if required.
PRICES = Full Sheet £90 or Half Sheet £50 (ALL INCL.VAT)
A class "O" fire rated acoustic foam with a foil facing that has a vibration controlling damping sheet with a self-adhesive backing. Waterproof, oil resistant and fire proof it can be used in all types of engine bays.
The damping sheet helps to reduce the noise created by the vibrations of the bonnet lid, boat engine cover or generator housing. The open cell acoustic foam layer absorbs the airborne sounds created by an engine.
The foil facing gives a wipe clean surface and helps to stop the acoustic foam from clogging with fumes and oils, and helps to stop discolouring of a bonnet lid.
PRICES = Full Sheet £90 or Half Sheet £50 (ALL INCL.VAT)
A class "O" fire rated acoustic foam sandwiched inside two rigid damping sheets for maximum noise absorption.
The damping sheets help to block the road noise, exhaust noise, and the vibrations created by vehicle movement, and the acoustic foam will absorb the frequencies that pass through the damping sheet.
Used on the floor surface inside a vehicle and along the side of a transmission tunnel usually under the existing carpets.
PRICES = Full Sheet £100 or Half Sheet £55 (ALL INCL.VAT)
A class "O" fire rated acoustic foam sandwiched inside two self-adhesive rigid damping sheets for maximum noise reduction.
The damping sheets help to block the road noise, exhaust noise, and the vibrations created by vehicle movement, and the acoustic foam will absorb the frequencies that pass through the damping sheet.
Used mainly inside Land Rovers for the areas that are not flat on the floor and for the bulkheads in middle and rear engine vehicles.
PRICES = Full Sheet £65 or Half Sheet £35 (ALL INCL.VAT)
A heavy duty mouldable polymer damping sheet with a self-adhesive backing and foil facing.
The Barrier mat is easy to shape and acts as a blocker of sound or it can be used to reduce the vibrations of a metal structure.
Barrier mat is used around bulkheads, wheel arches, doors, under spare wheels and on the rear wings of vehicles.
Used extensively in ICE market to enhance the bass sound quality of rear sound systems and block out noise and vibrations from exhausts.
Barrier mat can also be used on party walls for domestic sound proofing
PRICES = Full Sheet £140 or Half Sheet £75 (ALL INCL.VAT)
A sheet of high quality sound deadening lead sandwiched inside two layers of class "O" fire rated acoustic foam with a self-adhesive backing
The Lead layer acts as a barrier to sounds and the two layers of foam absorb the airborne sounds that have been blocked.
Can be used on the bulkhead in Land Rover models or inside in-cab engine covers, for lining generator housings in Motor Homes, to cover surveillance equipment housings in commercial vehicles, and as part of a solution to industrial noise reduction.
PRICES = Full Sheet (2m x 1m) £65 or Half Sheet £35 (ALL INCL.VAT)
A class "O" fire rated sound absorbing acoustic foam with a profiled face
The profiled face gives a greater surface area with which the sound can be absorbed than flat faced foams. Used in domestic sound proofing for party walls, in music studio sound proofing, in acoustic hoods, in the rear of motor homes, commercial vans and boats for both sound and heat insulation.
PRICES = Full Sheet £85 or Half Sheet £45 (ALL INCL.VAT)
This is a barrier damping layer of 2mm thickness combined with a 12mm open cell acoustic foam. The Barrier layer will reduce noise between rooms by 20 to 25 Db. The Acoustic foam will further reduce the amount of noise transferred by absorbing the airborne sounds giving a total reduction in excess of 35 Db.
Self Adhesive the AbsorbnBlock is applied directly onto the existing wall and then plastic pads are attached through the AbsorbnBlock into to the existing wall and then plasterboard sheets are attached to the plastic pad over the Noisekiller AbsorbnBlock. This method also creates an air gap between the AbsorbnBlock and the Plasterboard which further helps with reduction of airborne sounds. Plasterboard will also help to block and reduce further the noise transmitted. The total thickness of the completed wall will be 35 mm (less than 2") meaning only a small amount is lost on the room size.
Prices from £45
NoiseKiller is a patented spray-on sound and vibration control or liquid sound deadening. It literally removes unwanted noise and vibrations by converting them into low-grade heat.
NoiseKiller is not a rubberised under coat. It is a non-toxic waterbased vibration absorbing coating. It does not have foul smells and it cleans up with soapy water. You spray it on just like paint and it dries to an extremely hard surface in only two hours, curing to its finished state in 24 to 48 hours. NoiseKiller also meets all the current US OSHA requirements and has a fire rating to EN 60950
It can be used in most industries where noise is a problem. In Cars, Motor Homes, Commercial Vehicles, Boats, Aircraft Industry, Engineering, Metal Roofs, White Goods, Vibratory sorting machines, Ducting, Conveyors.
In fact you can use Noisekiller wherever there is a major source of noise due to vibration or movement.
FULL KIT £300 including VAT
FULL KIT comprises of the following:-
1 x Full Sheet Noise Killer Barrier Mat
3 x Full Sheet Noise Killer Sound Barrier
We recommend the material is fitted as follows:-
INTERIOR CAB
The simplest and easiest way to Sound Proof your camper is as follows
Using Noisekiller Sound Barrier
1 Above the engine bay at the rear of your vehicle using your carpet as a template mark and cut the shape using a sharp Stanley Knife (or sharp scissors) on top of a firm surface.
2 With the material that is left from the sheet cut the shapes for the upright of the engine bay (usually located under the rear seat). We suggest using a contact adhesive (Evostick type) to keep these pieces in place
You will need 1 Sheet of Noisekiller Sound Barrier to cover this area.
3 If you are doing a complete build or re-furb then it is possible to lay Noisekiller Non Adhesive Sound Barrier on the floor of the centre area before you lay your new flooring. Including the area in between the front seats
You will need 1 and 1/2 sheets of Noisekiller Sound Barrier to cover this area
4 To do the front floor area of the vehicle using your carpet as a template mark and cut the shape using a sharp Stanley Knife (or sharp scissors) on top of a firm surface.
You will need ½ Sheet cut length ways of Noisekiller Sound Barrier
5 The rear wheel arches, front wheel arches, the outer side panels, the panel below the front window and doors are sound proofed using Noisekiller Self Adhesive Barrier Mat.
On the wheel arches you should cover the whole of the wheel arch so that it blocks the noise from the tyres. On the outer side and front panel use pads cut from the sheet approx 250mm x 150mm.
We recommend you adhere two pads to each side panel, three pads to each door and four pads to the front panel.
You will need 1 Sheet of Noisekiller Barrier Mat (which is self-adhesive) for these areas.
