SOUNDPROOFING MARINE

Make your Leisure time Pleasure time

Noise Insulation in marine applications has long been recognised as vital to enhance the comfort of your craft and keep airborne sound and vibration from engines and generators to a minimum in cabins and saloons.

This is best achieved by using Marine Acoustic Composites made from layers of special sound reduction materials to isolate or absorb the various sound frequencies produced by the engines and metal vibrations of engine rooms.

Our Marine Range of products are available from stock in various thickness and can be purchased either in a non-adhesive form or with a self-adhesive backing. We, at Noisekiller, have the solution to your sound problem, however severe and our range is tailored to meet your budget.

Noisekiller 6 Foil Faced

This is a 6mm open cell Non Flam acoustic foam laminated onto a 2 mm damping sheet with a foil facing and self-adhesive backing. The damping sheet will remove vibrations from the metal casing and the foam will absorb airborne sounds

Noisekiller 12 Glass Foil Faced

This is a 2mm damping sheet sandwiched inside 2 layers of 6mm open cell Non Flam acoustic foam with a Glass Foil facing for extra strength. The layer of foam nearest to the engine bay sides acts as an isolation layer and along with the damping sheet reduces vibrations. The top layer absorbs the engine airborne sounds and dissipates the noise through the cells.

Noisekiller 12 Foil Faced Lead Sandwich

This is similar in construction to the Noisekiller 12 Glass Foil faced with the addition of a sheet of Lead to act as a block instead of a damping sheet.

Noisekiller 32 Glass Foil Faced

The 2 mm damping sheet is sandwiched inside a layer of 6mm open cell Non Flam acoustic foam and a layer of 26 mm open cell Non Flam acoustic foam, which gives a higher absorption rate of the airborne engine sounds. Supplied with a Glass Foil facing for added strength on the surface.

Noisekiller Lead lined Acoustic Blankets

The Lead Lined Accoustic Blankets can be made to specific sizes and will form around the engine and reduce the noise from the engine.

Noisekiller Egg Box

Noisekiller Egg Box can be used in Marine applications to insulate and sound proof side panels of the craft. It has very high absorption values as well as offering very good heat insulation. Self adhesive it very easy to apply and trim to size no messy glues are needed.
